Wheel-thrown and hand-painted, this unique fermentation crock is an heirloom-quality addition to your fermenting supplies with a vintage glass lid, so you can peek in at the progress of your ferments without breaking the airlock!!

Handmade fermenting crock is painted with a beautiful rainbow design over white clay, covered by a glossy clear glaze inside and out. This beautiful sauerkraut crock is absolutely unique, and a stand-out from commercial designs. Double lip moat can be filled with water, allowing bubbles to escape, and helping to create a natural airlock. Bottom footring is sanded smooth.

Two handmade weights included. 3.75" diameter + 2.65" diameter.

Durable ceramic crock is dishwasher safe, and easy to clean. Lid must be hand-washed.

With lid, measures approx. 10.5" tall, 6.5" diameter, this fermenting crock pot holds approx. half gallon (two quarts).
