Mullein torches (also known as witch's torches or hag torches) at their simplest are dried mullein stalks dipped in wax. For my version, I have homegrown the verbascum thapsus stalks and dipped them in 100% beeswax. 

Burning mullein gives off an herbaceous sage-like smoke complemented by the honeyed scent of beeswax and flower petals.

To burn, place in a candleholder or outside in a fire-safe location (like sand or a fire pit), clip the end, light it.
