Wheel-thrown and hand-sculpted, this unique fermentation crock is an heirloom-quality addition to your fermenting supplies!

This hand-painted wraparound design has a cluster of ripe tomatoes and tendrils bordered by an intricate basketweave motif. 

Handmade fermenting crock is covered by a smooth white glaze on the interior and lid; exterior has a light sheen of glaze. This beautiful sauerkraut crock is absolutely unique, and a stand-out from commercial designs. Double lip moat can be filled with water, allowing bubbles to escape, and helping to create a natural airlock. Bottom is sanded smooth.

Two weights included; 3.75" diameter, and 2.65" diameter.

Durable ceramic crock is dishwasher safe, and easy to clean. 

With lid, measures approx. 8.5" tall, 6.5" diameter, this fermenting crock pot holds approx. half gallon (two quarts).
