Wheel-thrown and hand-sculpted, this unique fermentation crock is an heirloom-quality addition to your fermenting supplies!

Inspired by the fall harvest - hand-painted figs, apple, wheat, and mugwort are surrounded by a golden brown basketweave braid motif. Shades of green, pale blue, and cobalt blue. 

Handmade fermenting crock is covered by a smooth clear glaze inside and out. This beautiful sauerkraut crock is absolutely unique, and a stand-out from commercial designs. Double lip moat can be filled with water, allowing bubbles to escape, and helping to create a natural airlock. Bottom is sanded smooth.

One handmade 2-piece weight included. 3.75" diameter. PLUS a 2.65" weight.

Durable ceramic crock is dishwasher safe, and easy to clean. 

With lid, measures approx. 8.5" tall, 6.5" diameter, this fermenting crock pot holds approx. half gallon (two quarts).
